Stand Alone Appointments
Enhance your maternity journey
Sometimes you just need time, space, and an experienced midwife who will really listen.
My stand-alone appointments are designed to give you exactly that.
All appointments:
-
Last around 90–120 minutes
-
Can be arranged in the evening or at the weekend
-
Take place in the comfort of your own home
-
Are completely unrushed and client-led
-
Can be booked alongside NHS or shared care
This is proper midwifery care - not a 10-minute checklist.

Antenatal appointments
These appointments are ideal if you want extra reassurance, clarity, or support during pregnancy - without committing to full care.
Antenatal appointments can include:
-
Full pregnancy check (blood pressure, urine testing, abdominal palpation, fetal heart rate if appropriate/requested etc)
-
Time to talk through your pregnancy including symptoms, concerns or worries
-
Birth planning support (home birth, hospital birth, VBAC, induction, caesarean choices)
-
Debriefing a previous birth or processing past trauma
-
Advocacy and informed decision-making support
-
Space to ask all the questions you didn’t get time for elsewhere
£250
Postnatal appointments
The postnatal period can be overwhelming, emotional, and full of questions.

My postnatal appointments offer calm, practical, compassionate support tailored to you and your baby.

These sessions may include:
-
Full postnatal check for you and your baby
-
Infant feeding support (breast, bottle or combination)
-
Emotional wellbeing support and honest check-ins
-
Birth debriefs and reflection
-
Practical newborn care guidance
-
Support weeks or even months after birth

There is no “too late” for postnatal care.

Blood tests
I offer private NIPT testing in your own home, allowing you to have this important screening in a calm, familiar environment, without the stress of clinics or rushed appointments.
£450
I also offer other private blood tests during pregnancy and the postnatal period, arranged on an individual basis depending on your needs.
These may include:
-
Booking bloods
-
Early pregnancy blood tests
-
Glucose tolerance testing
-
Reassurance or wellbeing bloods
-
Other pregnancy-related blood tests (by discussion)
If you’re unsure which blood tests you need, I’m happy to talk this through with you and arrange appropriate testing.
